PHI/WAS- This game might have some weather concerns. Even if this game does play, the chance of rain makes me a little nervous about playing Scherzer in case a delay happens early and he does not come back on the hill. That risk combined with a great Phillies lineup will make me fade Mad Max today. Eflin is a decent pitcher so I am not looking to full stack against him. Trea Turner and Adam Eaton are my 2 favorite plays from WAS.

BAL/TOR- Absolutely no interest in Casher who has a very low k rate and gives up a high average and a bunch of bombs. He only struck out righties last season at a 11.9% clip and lefties at a 17.3% clip. Main interest in Toronto is Smoak and Grichuk. Grichuk is very streaky and he looked like he was getting out of his early season slump when he hit a homer and a deep double in his final 2 at bats yesterday. If Gurriel and Teoscar are back in the heart of the lineup, those 4 would make a good stack. Stroman is in play more me as a cheap sp1 or as an sp2.

COL/TBR I love Blake Snell today. He is cheap and has the same upside as Verlander and Scherzer. The Rockies are not good on the road and Snell was almost unhittable at home last season. Fire up Snell. Freedland is also a solid pitcher, but I have some interest in TB just because they are cheap. Yandy Diaz is projected to leadoff at only 3.4k, Pham has good numbers against lefties, and Avisail is a career .305 hitter vs lefties compared to only .259 against righties.

NYM/MIA The Mets are one of my favorite sneaky stacks. They are loaded with lefties and Urena gave up a 1.37 HR/9 to lefties last season. Mets are pretty cheap on DK too. I like Nimmo, McNeil, Cano, and Conforto as a 4 man stack. Vargas has some appeal as an SP2, especially if you are looking to spend up on bats. Anderson, Castro, Brinson, and Alfaro are the few Marlins I would look at.

HOU/TEX- Hou is once again going to be very popular. Shelby Miller got destroyed in spring training and was horrible in his few starts last season. First 5 guys in the Hou lineup make for one of the top 5 man stacks in a cash setting. My favorite is Brantley. The Rangers are one of the few offenses I will be pretending do not exist on this slate.

MIN/KCR- The Royals are going to be one of my favorite teams to stack throughout the season because they love to steal bases. I do not think I can pull the trigger on them against Berrios, but I like a few of them who are really cheap. Gordon, Soler, O’hearn, and Dozier are all really cheap and I would use them as one offs. Keller is better than people think he is. He only gave up 7 homeruns all of last season. Cruz, Rosario, and Cron are the only 3 bats I would consider against Keller.

BOS/OAK- Chris Sale got rocked in his first start and his velocity was down which is a little concerning. OAK offense will get no love from me against Sale. The Sox offense has not been very good so far, but they continue to be one of the most expensive stacks every night. Fiers does give up homeruns so Betts and Martinez make the cut although I won’t be stacking this team.

SFG/LAD- Like I wrote yesterday, I will continue to fade every Giants hitter for this whole season and a matchup against Ryu is not changing my mind. Kike, Turner, Pollock, and Freese all have great numbers against left handed pitching so if you are looking to stack the Dodgers, I would go with those 4.

ARI/SDP- Both teams have an implied total of under 4 runs. No interest in stacking up either team. I have interest in both pitchers, though I would lean on Greinke since he has the pedigree and is more likely to throw more pitches than Lauer. Top 3 Padres hitters are Hosmer, Reyes, and Myers. Top 3 ARI hitters are Jones, Escobar, and Flores.

LAA/SEA I will go right back to a SEA stack today as they continue to put a lot of runs on the board and they are never popular. Smith, Haniger, Santana, Bruce, and Beckham are my top 5. I like Gonzales as a SP2 today. He has good stuff and is really cheap. Angels lineup is not scary except for Trout.
